I like the look of some rally/safari outfits. but from the pics it seems you need to make holes in the hood.
Are there less destructive solutions to add just a couple of lights CIBIE or so?
maybe hanging from the bumper

im interested specifically for G-series (in my case a 1982 911 SC)

I'm developing a pod system that uses VHB tape rather than drilling holes for a hood mounted rally pod. So far we have scanned the 996 hood, and the G body ( 74-89 ) .

We should have a product in a month or so. My Company is Terrawagen, we manufacture aftermarket accessories for Mercedes Sprinters. I have a few Porsches and always wanted to make these.
