Default Missing Option Codes

Hello,

My father has a 1985 Porsche Carrera and wanted to see if I could get the option codes from the VIN. The only code on the sticker is C02, the VIN is WP0EB0918FS160605.

Thank you,

Jacob

i'm not sure you can get option codes from the VIN on an 85, I think you are about 10 years too early. , i think you would have to order a document from Porsche.

Although i might be a bit paranoid, i wouldn't be putting my VIN on the net either.

yes yes i know it can be seen through the windshield, but where i live there are not thousands of people looking for this info to copy vins , like there are on the internet.

just sayin

You certainly can and Vinanalytics.com supports it as well.

oh that's great ....

oh wait .. just read this on their site .... so ......

Available for all Porsche vehicles with a 17-digit VIN. For older Porsche models, limited information will be available. This service is ideal for 1995 or newer models but will work for older models (with limited information).
