Hi
Has anyone ever replaced the canvas part of their Targa top? Can a replacement be gotten, or must one purchase the entire top? Someone mentioned at one time that a replacement fiberglass top was available.
Thanks
Edward

I have a writeup on it - http://www.vintagebus.com/targa
And Tom Sharpes has a writeup on it as well on the Pelican Parts site

Yep you can do it yourself. There are many sources who sell factory skins or American replacement skins. Also if you decide against doing it yourself there are at least two reputable sources who restore 911 targa tops. One is in Colorado (ad in Excellence magazine) and the other is Dan Petchel in NJ, www.carsinc-nj.com. To have Dan do it is not cheap, but he does a good job.
