Default Carpet faded

has anyone heard of re coloring / dyeing your caret i just purchased a 1974 9911sc carpet is very faded but in great shape wondering if anyone knows or has an ideal on a fix besides buying all new carpet

i think the problem is the carpet is glued in place ... never heard of anyone dying it while it still glued into the car.

Not saying it cant be done, just never heard of it.

agreed i just hate to get rid of the original carpet but its extremely faded, any recommendations on new carpet suppliers there so many out there its hard to tell which ones are reputable

i dont think your idea is so crazy , with seats and other stuff out the carpet is very accessible .. I would suggest talking to an upholsterer and see if he can do what you ask if you deliver the car to him in a condition that he has access to everything.
