Thanks for the replies guys, I am working on fixing a bad patch job for a small scatch and wanted to know if I needed to worry about breaking the clear.
I believe that they were not clear coated. Easy way to tell, though is with a hand glaze, if you get paint color on your fine cloth, after the dirt is removed, then it is not clear coated.
