Relays.... Which are the critical ones to replace?

Here you could follow the old "rule"; If it ain't broken, don't fix it.
But it is not a bad idea to have a spare DME relay in your glove box.
Targa is an open car, so water might get to the Motronic box under driver seat.
You could check if there is any trace of water around it.
The fuses are also the old style, you could rotate them in their sockets.
In my '85 3.2 have no relays failed so far. But the head temp sensor in cylinder #3 failed,
and the crankshaft position sensor failed. Alternator carbons and bearings had to be replaced.
That's all electrical failures in my car.
