Help with the Part Number ('79 targa)
Hi,
Can anyone identify this part and tell me the Part Number so that I am able to order it?
I have searched every possible online catalogue and never found the number.
It is a plastic screw located behind the rubber sealing in the front part of the targa bow. 4 of them are necessary.
Thanks for help.

Hi Muf,
I replaced those 4 screws when I renewed the targa var front seal. They go by the term "ski rack screw" in my catalog, tho' neither the dealer nor I could figure out where that name came from.
The part number was 901 801 153 40.
I ordered a few parts that time, and I know a couple of the part #'s had been superceded, but that should get you going.
BTW, although I can't remember how much they cost, I do recall that it was reasonable.

Thanks, Stan, thank you very much.
Neither pelicanparts nor vertex, nor Mittelmotor.de have this number in their catalogue.
On Monday I try to send an email to the local porsche dealer, let's hope they have it.
P.S. Is your catalog you mentioned somewhere online?
