My 72' 911 T master cylinder doesn't have a pressure switch
I'm in the process of refreshing my brakes on my 1972 911 T and one of the items I'm updating/replacing is the master cylinder. I ordered a replacement ATE FCP Euro that says it fits, but when I compare the new one in the box with what is on the car, I don't have a pressure switch (single pole in this case)h on mine. I'm assuming I still install the new master cylinder, but don't use this pressure switch. Is that correct? I have attached pictures of my the one currently on the car.

You can install without hooking up the pressure switch. You probably have the wiring in your footwell for it, if you want to hook it up. I wouldn't bother though. You will know when your MC fails without any light to tell you.

the euro cars did not have a pressure switch in the early years. At one time we Purchased 100 of them from europe, genuine ATE, but no pressure switches! Were cheap and sold like hotcakes
