This is a follow on post to my earlier one, "Who Started in a 944" etc, post.
The thread has morphed and I am giving SOME consideration to an '84 (?)white Targa which is otherwise in very good condition, with new(er) reasonably expensive re-paint, '96 rebuild with 12,000 miles since but the red leather interior (upholstery & carpet) is faded into an array of red, oranges, golds and even a few spots that almost look yellow. Personally, I LIKE the red interior though I know it may be the minority opinion and lack of aftermarket source MAY make me have to consider switching to black.
Who is a good solid reference for interior redo kits? Complete, door panels, molded carpet, cargo area, seats of course?
If that is SOMEWHAT reasonable (and DIY possible) - I will consider the car more seriously. It needs some elbow grease and TLC but with the interior (and trunk carpet) it would look really good. All help/advice appreciated. -Dan
