I’ve had this problem before with a 3.0 L motor once it warms up it revs over 2000 at idle I turn the idle down, but it keeps revving to high. Any help is much appreciated.

You have a vacuum leak somewhere in the intake system. Go after the easy stuff such as loose hose clamps, bad (cracked) rubber hoses, leave no stone unturned and assume NOTHING. You may need to have the intake smoke tested to find the leak.
