Rear Carrera Spoiler
Guys,
Been searching for info on installing a Carrera spoiler to the rear deck lid. Does the installation require a mounting bracket? OR are you bolting straight onto the lid?
If a mounting bracket is the best option, where do i buy this part? looking on Pelican and i am not sure if it is the correct part.
Thanks !

Burning Brakes
Carrera tail requires the mounting points shown on this picture. Some of the holes, shown in the recessed area where the engine grille sits, are also utilized.
A Carrera that left the factory, without a tail, would not have these holes shown with the red arrows.
I have a factory Carrera tail with mounting bolts and brackets. I believe all of the hardware is available.
What I am calling brackets were more like backing plates.
My car also has factory A/C . A few of the holes in the recessed potion held the A/C line brackets.

Big thank you AG81, appreciate the information you have provided. It is extremely helpful.
I am reluctant to bolt on the spoiler to the original non spoiler lid, so i want to make sure it is done as professionally as possible with the correct parts.
Looking for the brackets/ backing plates but not finding anything definitive for this purpose.
Will post up a before and after shot when its done.

go to the PET on a the Porsche website to see what is needed... there is more work to it than you might imagine. id consider getting another decklid and have it painted for this purpose.
