Anything particular about Japanese climate, driving conditions, DOT requirements, servicing practices etc that would make a ROW Carrera imported from Japan any more or less desireable than a ROW imported from Europe? Seeems late '80's Carrera's sell for only equivalent of US$10-12K there. Yes it's LHD.

The Japanese car market is a bit funny. The way car tax works the Japanese tend to buy a new car and sell it when it is three years old. In the meantime they get NO servicing.

How this would affect a 15 year old 911 I am not sure!
