Question Is the body of a porsche still valuable?

My mom blew the engine on her 1974 Porsche 911 Targa. Is just the body still valuable (transmission, etc.)? How much could the body sell for?

If the body is in good shape, I bet you could sell it for around $15K-$20K. Especially in California, where a 1974 doesn't require emissions testing.
