Default trying to avoid dispute with mechanic...electrical gremlins after engine R&I

I just got my car back from a tranny rebuild and noticed (after I paid) that my turn signals don't work and my speedometer is bouncing around, acting like a tachometer somewhat. My windows, later decided not to work

this stuff was all fine prior to me bringing the car to him but i feel that he's going to say that nothing he did could have caused the problem. I have to think otherwise.

any opinions on what happened and/or how to handle the situation?

Oh yes, he did plenty.

Start out with removing all the engine grounds.
Then, messing with the speedo pick up
Finally, depending on how he removed the engine, he may have done something to the turn signals in the back.

Last, he sat in your car, test drove it (I hoped) and probably exercised the hell out of them turn signals, I bet.

just heard from mechanic. Fixed at no charge!!!

Something there caused a fuse problem and the speedo pickup in the tunnel wasn't hooked up right.
