1988 Alarm Key FINALLY!
After a year of having been told by everyone that it was IMPOSSIBLE to have a spare factory alarm key made for my 88 911, I had one made at the Hershey Swap Meet by a fellow there making / selling keys without incident.
I think that I kept the fellow's card, if interested, let me know and I will dig for it.

for what it's worth - my local locksmith made me an extra key for my alarm. It was simple - and only cost $3.50 and took a minute -- just like a regular car key.

My alarm goes off when the door is opened only a few inches. Not enough play to actually open the door and turn it off. Is there any adjustment for this? Small item I have never got around to addressing.

The guys name is Tony Euganeo. He is at Hershey every year and does a great job. I came to him with an alarm key that was broken in half and with a bit of tinkering he was able to cut a new one. Works perfectly. Also he is a great source for OEM and lighted keys . I too had a local locksmith cut an ignition key, but the blank seemed a bit thin. Tony cut me a new one and voila... much better fit. You can find him at www.lockandkeyid.com
