Default 1984 Interior Dash Lights Question

I have a string of two or three small light bulbs that hang down under the center of my dash into the footwells. They light up when the headlights are on and I'm assuming they are meant to illuminate various areas of the dash. I'm hoping someone here can help me determine where these lights are supposed to reside. For one I was able to determine it was for the ashtray but the others I'm still trying to figure out. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

On my 88, those bulbs are mounted to the fresh air/vent/heat backside. When the headlights are on, they light up. When the fresh air vent is turned on, another bulb lights up.
