Default coil on plug selection for 3.0 SC

I am doing a coil on plug ignition on my 3.0 SC. I currently have tried a Bosch 986 221 024. which is used on a bunch of cars. It stands too tall over the valve cover. What are some other options that will be a closer length to an actual beru plug so I can make a nice mount/hold-down to the valve cover?

Rasant uses these coil packs on their ignition system. I would love to know more of what you are going with as I would like to use a similar system.

Hulley, Thanks for the response. Those look like the ones I have. They have multiple rubber rings so I am getting some seal. They just look really clunky sitting so far out. I feel like I have seen COP that had a more flush fit before in other projects.

What are you using for the ignition controller and crank sensor?

It will either be a Haltech or Motec. The COP is a part of an ITB project. I haven't picked a crank sensor yet. Open to any advice? I was wondering if anyone has ever just done a crank position sensor off the distributor shaft before. Why would you need both cam and crank sensor when the cam offers both pieces of info.
Thanks

This Beru COP would be great if it is close in length. Making a small spacer for the bolt to the valve cover would be easy. Just need to find someone who has messed around with sizing since dimesnions for these parts aren't included in descriptions.

I use these (12 of them dual plug)

The ones you have are what rasant uses and are good. You can use the plug holders to hold them and make it tidy
