Lightbulb '81 Oil Cooler Lines

I’ve installed a 2.4 motor in a newly acquired ’81 Targa. Some people may ask why? Because the ’81 didn’t have a motor and I had a perfectly good 2.4 with E cams, S pistons, and carbs. The problem I encountered was that the 2.4 oil lines would not connect to the ’81 cooler lines. I was able to connect them to the oil tank. This is a short-term solution. I’d like to have the ability to run the additional cooler that the ’81 offers. In addition, I think that I need the oil pressure control mechanism that is part of the ‘81s oil cooler plumbing.

The question is does anyone offer a set of lines that will allow me to make things right? I sure don’t want to run the car long w/o having the pressure regulator hooked into the oil system. Thanks for any advice.
Cheers, Rich Lorenz

You need the three lines from a '75 to connect engine and tank to the external thermostat.

Have a look on the Elephant racing site they have loads of info about retro fitting oil cooling systems.
