Default Local MFI help?

I own a 1973 911T with the 2.4L MFI motor. Presently the MFI is way too lean. I have ordered the tools from performance products to make the adjustments, but have never actually done it myself.

Is there any one out there living close to Martin, TN? Martin is in the northwest corner of TN right by the KY border.

I was running so lean that the oil temps would quickly climb up to 250 and the exhaust was so hot it melted the thermoplastic rear bumper the previous owner had installed. I have a RS style that will soon take its place.

My e-mail is snakepitt1@aol.com

Thanks,
Scott Harris

Before you do any adjustment, look carefully for vacuum leaks. Make sure all hoses are good and the rubber connectors between the intake runners and the cylinders are good. there may be a reason it's lean.

good luck

If the ignition timing is way too retarded it can cause high temps in the exhaust ports.
