Cardex ?
Where do I go to a a Cardex(?) for my 77 911?
This tells you how your car left the factory and what options it had, right?
I want to know what color the interior is on mine. The exterior code is 265 Oak Green metallic. I'm not sure of the interior. It is an orange/brown color. It's not tan. Cork maybe? Would ther be an ID tag on the car that would indicate interior color?
Also, any recommendations for suppliers for seat covers and carpets? I want to restore keeping the original colors.
Thanks,
Ed

Perhaps Mark,
They couldn't tell me the DOB of my 84., yet it's
stamped on the driver's door. I was less than satisfied that I
received an appropriate value for my hard earned $.
A tremendous value is the Central PA Rerion PCA Porsche only Swap in a mere 10 days on April 24, 2004.
regards,
Steve

In many cases, and newer is easier, Porsche can look up on their system and tell you the options and colors your 911 came with. Call 800-PORSCHE and give them the VIN. They can't tell you what the option codes mean, but you can use the option decoder under the general forum. As you go back further in time, the electronic records become spottier.

The CARDEX system is maintained and operated by Porsche Classic, which to my knowledge is not based at Stuttgart but about 20 miles away in another town.
