Hi all. New to the Porsche Community, just picked up a 1981 911sc and had a great drive up New Zealand, about 1200kms. No issues the entire journey. Parked in the driveway and haven’t managed to start it since. It winds over but doesn’t fire.

My working theory is the aftermarket immobiliser has failed which has circuit broken a key component. In my full review of everything, I saw this yellow wire in the engine bay has come loose; any idea what this does?

I am pretty sure it is the thermotime switch that is part of the warm up regulator circuit....and yes, if it did not work I believe cold starts would not be good
