Help 1979 911 Will Not Idle above 3000 ft elevation
Help 1979 911 Will Not Idle above 3000 ft elevation once the car reaches operating temperature.
Runs like a champ till warm above 3,000 till warm and below 3,000 feet in altitude always runs strong.
The big issue is I live at 4,100
Thanks in advance for any help.

ok... CIS doesn't really have compensation for altitude (like carbs, they suck outside the range where tuned!).
You'll want to have the idle adjusted, there is an adjustment screw you can tune it some, it doesn't really have effect off idle however. You really should have an AFR meter to do this right. Do you have a shop nearby?
Before you do that, ensure you don't have any vacuum leaks and car is otherwise in a good state of tune
If you search on Pelican Parts forums. you'll find lots of info on this. There are a ton of G/SC owners there with CIS. CIS is a good system when in tune.
