Monterrey PPI
Edit: Apparently the car is being sold on consignment. Car is in Monterrey CA but dealer is on Boise.
I've come across a 57K mile 2-owner 85 Targa in Monterrey with recent transmission rebuild. Price seems on the higher side of where I hoped to be (at $68K asking) and sold by a dealer of reputation unknown. I've requested maintenance records (which are space, as the 20 year prior owner died) and car is being sold on consignment by a surviving friend (or something). Seems like a reasonable story.
Would like a pretty thorough PPI and to give car a thorough shakedown. This will be my first "vintage" car so hoping to avoid some basic mistakes. Id like something thats ready to enjoy and worthy of substantial investment for a outlaw/restomod in the near-intermediate term.
