New Door and Ignition Cylinders
Greetings,
I did a search here and did not find an answer. Is there a supplier out there that can furnish new door lock and ignition cylinders with matched keys/key code? These are easy to find for 356's but I have had no luck finding a supplier that does this for the 911 (1974). I fully understand that it is easy to re-key them, I can do that myself and I even have a box full of original wafers. But, for various reasons I want to find brand new door lock and ignition cylinders if they are available. Stoddard does not sell them like they do for the 356, Sierra Madre does not sell them and I have not been able to find any other vendor for this. Does anyone know of a source?
Thanks in advance for any help!

I would ask the guys at www.aasesales.com. I suspect they would do it for you. PM me if you need a contact.

The dealer can also do this, I actually bought the entire set from Porsche a while back 911 538 901 13 which included both door handles, glove box, ignition switch and front lid release, all keyed together with spare keys....looks to be available when I do a search, about $1200 these days.
Even though I have spares, I wanted everything new and reliable and once I priced out what it would cost to rekey everything, powdercoat everything it was close enough to the cost that I just went with it.

Guys,
Thanks so much for the suggestions. What I am looking for are brand new lock cylinders all keyed the same to insert into my existing door handles and switch rather tan buying all new handles and a switch. This setup is available for 356's and is a great way to keep your original stuff by just sliding the old ones out and the new ones in. If it comes to re-keying being the only answer to match keys then I can do that myself, I was just hoping that the described setup was available for 911's as well.
If anyone knows of something like this I would love to hear about it!
Thanks again.

I see. Still, I would reach out to Aase. Asking is easy...
