Default About 911sc euro fuel distributor part # ???

Hi everyone,

I have a few of questions for the experts.

1) Is this the right bosch part number of the european fuel distributor?

0438 100 097

2) Is the european 911sc fuel distributor the same as the early 930's (78-79) and euro 930's?

3) Did Porsche use only plastic fuel lines on european cars or they also used the metal lines like the USA models?

TIA

1) 0 438 100 097 is the correct part number (for 81+, not sure about 78-80 though)

2) don't know

3) My 81 RoW has metal lines that are original.

Hope that helps some.

The Euro fuel distributor for the SC and Turbo are different units. The Turbo requires much more fuel. The 78-80 Euro SC's have plastic fuel lines, and no frequency valve behind the fuel distributor, where 81-83 use metal lines with a frequency valve. The Euro 930's have larger diameter metal lines, where the USA 930's have smaller diameter metal lines. I have my 79' SC 930-03 Intake manifold with fuel distributor in the garage somewhere. If you cant find the part # for 78-80 let me know and Ill go look.

Thanks a lot Guys,

I'm ready to start the rebuilt of my 83 911sc engine and I'll change the intake to the euro model, new Mahle P/C to 98mm and 9.8:1, and other stuff.

The aluminum manifolds and air box should be the same for both Euro and USA 81-83 SC. The 78-80 SC's had larger diameter manifolds and ports in the heads, but the later ones even though a few mm smaller are supposed to flow better. The fuel Distributor, warm up regulator and some of the associated air valves are different between the Euro and USA in order to meet the tighter emissions regulations in the US.
