Default Front Mounted Oil Cooler

I know this is a long shot, but can someone tell me what kind of oil cooler that is? Or what kind I could replace it with? I’m not able to find a serial number or brand name on it. TIA!

Patrick ,

Kind of hard to tell the brand but i have something similar in size on my 89 911 due to a a 3.6 conversion , it's from Patrick Motorsports
and on my 944 SP2 race car i also have a huge front mounted cooler from Lindsey Racing.
If you check on their websites , i'm sure they're still available !

The one from Patrick has the inlet and outlet on the same side as yours and the one from Lindsey has
the inlet and outlet on opposite ends of the cooler, it's their updated version, the older one is just like the Patrick unit ...

Cheers
Phil

Appreciate the response! I checked their websites and looks like they don't sell those anymore. Maybe I just try to refurbish this one and start worrying about it once it starts leaking

Look for p/n LRA-951-3X+OIL on Lindsey Racing's site , the picture showed is their large oil cooler , it retails for $662.00 ... expensive but i've been running it for five
years now on my race car.
If you need more dimensions or info let me know , it's out of the car as i'm currently building another engine.

Cheers
Phil

if you haven't already, you can also check out elephant racing's table of Setrab coolers to see what might be comparable to what you have (https://www.elephantracing.com/oil-c...b-oil-coolers/). for reference, I just removed a Setrab #50-150-7612, which I believe corresponds to Elephant's listed 1-STD150, and it fit perfectly in the opening of an "RS" front bumper.

So after doing some more research on this, it looks like it might be an aftermarket Mazda RX oil cooler based on the dimensions. I also read that it is very common to use those and they are fairly cheap ($80 on eBay).
