Default Paint question

Car was painted years ago with single stage process. Has held up very well and looks great but shows the 'orange peel' common to the single stage process. What is the process called whereby the orange peel is removed? Color sanding, whatever? Thanks.

you could certainly sand and buff, a good body man detailing man can produce amazing results. Had my man do my MGB GT the other day, and looks brand new (what is a die hard porsche guy like me doing with an mgb gt?)

Just finished a single stage paint job and used this kit from Eastwood : http://www.eastwood.com/6-in-complet...ng-system.html

I had never done any paint cutting before but found the process quite manageable.
