how much do they go for these days ? when i take mine off to do maintenance i'm always terrified i don't get them in right and one fall out on the highway ... $$$$ shattering everywhere.
Hey @mdkrp is this with the chrome reflector or black? Looks pretty good to me!
Hey euroskip,
Sorry for late response. Haven't been on RL lately and just saw your post.
Mine are black and not painted. They have a matte finish which works for me.
Have had them for few years now and so far so good. I will add that customer service from RennLine is very good.
Cheers!

these are John's lights... Audette Silver version (the cheapest one's they got) is 700-760. If you get the flutted bosch glass is the latter price.
I know what you mean about these German design headlights… (they suck). On top of that the m5 tab nut inside the bucket is stripped and the trim ring is not sitting flushed to the gasket… but I got a plan. Not sure its gonna work but its a plan. Ill update things here, once the holidays are finished.
Hey folks... hate to dredge up an old thread but...
Anyone have experience with the rennline lights or 9haus? Love the functionality of LEDs but really dislike the look on impact bumper cars. I've seen a few with black shrouds, silver reflectors, fluted lenses that look ok. Anyone have first hand experience?
Those look like nice units! I'm aiming for something a bit more period correct in appearance but with some improved functionality.

Good luck. I have tried several manufactures. Rennline, Audette & 9eleven. They are all expensive and to varying degrees come close to "period correct".
There is nothing out there that is period correct. I needed max light over period correct and eventually decided, for my eyes, 9Eleven were the best.
I installed the rennline LED headlights and from what I’m noticing there isn’t really a good balance of an OEM look and good light output/quality. Just like any other Rennline product i have, i always seem to finish off an install saying “it’s good enough”. Same can be said for the fluted headlights i installed.

I should specify. I just don't like seeing a projector in the headlight bucket of an impact bumper 911. So I'm looking for a kit that hides it as much as possible.
I also really like to be able to see where I'm going at night. So if the choice is between stock appearance and sucky lighting OR not so great looks but great lights then the choice is made..

Ooof. Not a glowing endorsement. Is the product quality poor or is it just an issue with the overall look of the item?

it’s not that it’s terrible, but really the price (i think $1k) was the hard pill to swallow. I think if it was half that i would have said it was worth the upgrade. The parts were finicky to install and just didn’t seem like quality parts. Just a hash of parts thrown together to make a kit. If i were to do it again i think i would just do the H4 or H5 OE upgrade and call it a day.
Wellllllll... They were on sale so... Honestly not that much of a cost difference between good euro H4s and these offer vastly superior lighting performance. The way I spec'd these the projector is almost imperceptible. So far the quality seems fine.
Wellllllll.. the installation process is a nightmare. I think the overall improvement in lighting performance will be worth it. But jeez! This kit is not a particularly straightforward install. Sure each individual step is seemingly easy but nothing goes together quite like the instructions claim.
