Default 1968 Porsche 911 GENERATOR LIGHT HELP!!

Can anyone tell me what controls the generator light to illuminate on a 1968 porsche 911? I know it's a ground from what appears to be a green wire with a white stripe but where does it go? All help is appreciated!
