1. Targa sweak/rattle.
2. Shifting/trans, the pause mentioned.
3. Waiting for a good heavy spring rain to wash all the winter salt off the road.

Lewis - Yeah, NZ is a place I'd love to visit (or move to if they'd have me). But not all of N. America has rough winters - always 72F in San Diego

Well, yes the '72 is nice but my '72t box stock weighed 2115 pounds, once it got a Hot Rod 2.7... well let's just say there was a change.

Loose the girlfriend. You're in Texas for God's Sake. Don't they shoot vegetarians in Texas?

That random clicking noise coming from under the dash when you're in there dreaming about cruising to Telluride when the roads are finally clear.

What are those noises? My guess is that there is a thermostat under the dash area where the temp sensor is?

My POS transmission, grinds in first and reverse, unless I roll into it, and also it will grind second upshifting too fast or downshifting above 30mph. I have found ways around it, but it makes getting into a paralell spot pretty tough.

People driving 10 MPH+ your speed on the highway. Whenever driving the 911, traffic seems to go quicker, I wonder why? Could it be envy???

Rust...!!! The ever waiting virus for the early 911 owner. Keep the rain out, the seam sealer in and pray.
