Default 1972 911E Cutting Out

My 1972 911E MFI, after sitting idle for a few weeks, has started a miss (or cutting out) upon rapid acceleration. Gradual acceleration up to 7,000 RPM does not exhibit the miss. Accelerating from a cruise speed (any) does also exhibit this problem.

Fuel pump works fine, fuel filter is 6 months old, coil/points/rotor all check fine.

The car was running flawlessly before going into hibernation for the few weeks. I use branded fuel (Exxon, Shell, Chevron) of proper octane, 87.

Any insight and suggestions would be most welcome.

The only time I have had issues with hesitation under hard acceleration was due to ignition issues. How about the coil and spark plug wires?
