Post How to Identify Low Side AC Fitting?

I am adding refrigerant (R134)to my AC system and am confused on which service fitting to connect to. Compressor is a Sanden rotary and the Service fittings are lableled "SUC" and "DIS".

Thanks in advance.

Low side is port labled "SUC" As in Suction and "DIS" discharge. You really should use a manifold guage set for charging so you can monitor both sides, especially w/ the higher pressures R134a creates.

The low side is also connected to the evaporator and the high side to the condenser (the thing mounted on your trunk lid)

I agree with DK, get yourself some manifold gages to properly charge any system.
