Default RS Door Cards

I have an issue with my rennline door cards...they are an inch off at the speaker hole location. When measuring the bottom of the speaker to the bottom of the card in the stock panel is 2 in and is 3 in on the rennline panel. My question is there something I’m missing here on variability of the speaker location in 3.2 Carreras. They don’t line up at all and rennline says their panel is spot on for a factory location.

The speakers fit perfectly in the stock panel

What am I missing???

OU, I found the exact same issue........... I then used my factory panels as a templet for some 3/32" thin birch plywood.
Making my own panels (knowing I was going to recover them anyway) didn't bother me.

i did find that the rennline panels needed some extra effort to fit them up into the upper door trim... once I had them where I wanted them to sit I found I wasn’t off a full inch.... more like 5/8 to 3/4..... but still off..... that is the reason for my comment in the PM regarding the speaker locating bracket.....it would have been handy...

mount speakers to the panel, not to the door... that's how the factory did it. does that allow it to work?

not sure where they got their templates, i've installed the AppBix panels on 4 cars and they fit perfect.

speakers are mounted to the door...the speaker hole in the door card is off almost an inch
