This was my very first project on my 78SC. I did it even before I closed the door after driving the car home. On my SC the buzzer was connected to the dome light switch which is activated by opening and closing the door. It is located on the front door jam. I just unplugged the wire.

I forgot mine was un-plugged.
Rod Birch of Caraudioinnovations.com was installing the "system" in my 911sc.
I remember him asking me, "does that damn buzzing noise drive your crazy"
"Yeah, It kinda does..."
Rod reached under & yanked the relay out.

I ripped mine out right away too. I posted and someone told me where to find it - should be the same on your car. Behind the dash, reachable from the front truck space. Get it buzzing, then search and destroy. Very satisfying.
Cheers,
