So far I really like it...car is absolutely stock so it feels 180 degrees different from the 993 which has about every aftermarket part you can find to swap on to a 993. I won't be able to leave the 3.2 completely stock. Wont go crazy but definitely needs an update on the looks and handling.

Makes sense. A well upgraded 993 is a handling beast and while not especially fast, still quite a bit faster feeling than a g body.

The first mod...pretty simple to do. Thank god for impact guns. Waiting on a less lame horn button but it'll do for now. Suede Momo MOD 7. Identical to my 993 except the 993 has the cup version with fancy PORSCHE lettering. Love the wheel and it fits the car nicely. One step closer to not driving a bus.

LED Upgrade on the gauges...so much better I think. Now I just need to see if there is a way to make the lights on the HVAC and heater LED. Sorta looks odd now on the dash with the crap lights of the HVAC.

Neat. Is this just a simple bulb swap out? Where do you buy them? Any info on sizes needed? Thx in advance,

Yeah simple as pulling out the gauges and swapping the bulbs.

i used these. Of note the Speedo has three bulbs...2 were for illumination and one I’m not sure what it does...i just turned the lights on as I was swapping to see which ones lit up...it takes 8 bulbs in that kit to swap all the bulbs...pretty easy.

Congrats!!! I just had my top end rebuilt as well at same mileage, guess that's the time around they go...
Saw you mentioning mods..
Suspension wise, I lowered my torsion bars, turbo tie rod ends, Bilstein HDs and strut tower brace
Cat bypass, duel output exhaust, chip, short shift and cup air box. It's a great combo setup!
Also dumped the American garbage setup and went w/ the Euro H4 headlights. Major diff aesthetically and at illumination at night.

Much appreciate the words. I’ve ordered suspension bits from ER for a full refresh...bushings, sway bars, turbo tie rods, etc. stiffening the torsion bars to 22/29. Also getting MCS 2 way adjustable struts. Gonna run 16 in Fuchs for now and just enjoy the car as a firmer street car...looking forward to feeling how it drives with the firmer setup. Eventually I’ll do the exhaust, chip, WEVO shifter and upgrade the audio as I daily this car. Not trying to make it the lightest thing out there but something fun to drive daily in a spirited way but also have some common luxury items.
