Post Mobil 1 at WalMart

It's that time again.

5 quart jugs of Mobil 1 for $17.88 at Wally World.

It's an even better deal now that the singles are $4.74. That's quite a jump. No discount for the 6-pack.

Costco $22.59 (for the last year) for a 6 quart case, but only 10-30W.

Nieman Marcus has it for $13.99 per quart and you get treated rudely by the check-out clerk.

Picked up a few six-pack cases of 15w-50 over the weekend while attending a DE at Charlotte Motor Speedway for $20 each!

Whatta deal, wish I could find one like that again when I need more.

What is the best weight to use in a 3.2 engine w/ 80K miles? I was going to go with Mobil1 10W 30. What do you guys recommend? Thanks.

Thumbs up

20W50 Mobil 1 -- Satisfied customer, car has lived on the stuff for the past 90,000 miles -- now with 150K +. (oops! Must be 15W50 -- I really can't remember whether its 15W50 or 20W50 -- but I know that both choices of Mobil 1 aren't available.)

I've used 15w-50 for several years. 140,000+. Can't find 15w-50 for less than $4.99 anywhere. I need say, about 12 quarts, right now.

I think these prices are very location specific, here in San Jose I have never even seen a 5 quart jug of Mobil 1, only the 1 quart bottles. everytime I see these posts, I run to the store and get dissapointed....K-Mart did however have the $3.99 price, but no 15W50. So I asked for a raincheck, and got one, should have seen the look on their faces when they asked how many, and I said 48....
