Default Power seat - one side won't move

I have a 1989 Carrera with power seat on the driver's side. When trying to move front-back, the left side of the seat moves fine, but the right side doesn't even try to move. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what could be wrong and how to fix it?

Thanks,

BJB

Check that both of the seat mechanism's drive shafts are connected properly.

Ckeck the motors. Usually there is one motor per function. They are ususally interchangeable so that you can swap positions to see if that is at fault.

Both sides are powered by the same motor, which as two drive shafts, one for each side. If one side is moving, then the motor should be OK.

Yep, 2 motors, one for front to back the other for up and down. Check for obstruction in track.

Thanks guys, it turned out that the flexible shaft going to the right side adjustment screw was just pulled out a little. I popped it back in and it's working fine now.
