Vin Decoding help
9309700162 looked around the forum but haven't found a free decoder link that still works...car is a '79 930 (911 Turbo). Found a Porsche vin decoder online but says it must be 17 characters...this car may be an original Euro car imported and DOT approved.

I think the 7 denotes a Euro version Turbo. The rest is standard- 930=model 9=year 162= production number.
