Default Werks Reunion Monterey

Anybody go before and was it worth it? Thinking about heading up for a couple of days, and yes I can do have a place to stay... everything is basically sold out. Just curious and wanted thoughts on it.... heard good things about it, just debating if I want to shoot up for a couple of days to check it out.

Thanks

Its a blast.

But crowded, stop and go traffic can be brutal.

Laguna Seca is a fun day. Auctions are a blast and the Friday Porsche event is a must see.

I gave up driving Porsche choices up and now ride.

Lane splitting high dollar cars is a blast.

Its not for everyone but everyone should do it once.

For me a few car nuts we have done it every year for a long long time now.

Enjoy even if just for a day.

Lots of good info on line.

the werks is out a corral di tierra golf course, PITA to get in and out due to access from Hwy68. Parking is painful. if you go beware, the paths are for golf carts. So if you like your rims.. dont park down below. maybe take a taxi!! cheaper than a set of rims..

I don't like looking at cars that much. I prefer driving. If you go, go watch the historics at Laguna Seca. I was going to be up there but had some work stuff that is keeping me away. A day there maybe 2 is worth it, especially the paddock. The concourses are just stupid expensive to get into and way too wine and caviar for my tastes.

Rennsport is more my kind of thing...

Okay Werks reunion fun but only worth a couple of hours of time. Too many new cars that people drive off the show room and park in the corral. Luft blows it away. Still a nice event and setting on the golf course. Bruce Canepa’s place is unreal to see. Laguna Seca is always a blast.
