History check 1970 targa

Default History check 1970 targa

Hi all, I’m new to rennlist and wondering I anyone could help.
ive just purchased a 1970 targa but I have absolutely no history or paperwork on it.

Im in the Middle East so I’m struggling to get a Porsche Production spec sheet and wobder3d if anyone on the list now the car or has any way of getting history?

Vin. Number is 9110111611, its. A 1970 targa and may have been originally light yellow althoughi believe It may have been red when it left the US.

Lovely color. You should check on early 911s registry, too.

porsche these days is not much help at all, but you could purchase their certificate, it will at least show the original color of the car (you could look in the left front door jamb as well for the color number

Thanks, one issue is that my local dealer is refusing to process a production specification certificate request

i have the factory production specs,
It’s matching numbers so Now time for the restoration. .
