Hello all....after owning BMWs for many years I have just picked up a 1989 911 Carrera Coupe. Nice condition with 61K miles. I will be fixing a few items over the next few months but overall it's just going to be fun to drive and experience something different.

I do have a question...what did the 1989 Carrera Coupe retail for as new? Just trying to get a perspective on values then vs. today.

In my research, I found a figure of $51,205 for 1989 Coupe. Obviously, it would vary somewhat with options ordered.

My 88 Carreera cost $54,000 including options. The 89's should have been real close to that depending on options, also.
