I was wonderin' when Grant was going to get with it and post those. Damn fine ride, Grant. I may drop by this Summer when I do my Colorado mt-bike trip. Spectacular car. What's the wet weight of that thing? 2400lbs??

Dude, for a minute there I thought that read 1890 pounds. But then, that would make that car a SATANIC- fast track tool with instantaneous direction changes and lightning quick acceleration. Not to mention braking markers that would punk a works superbike and induce visions of The Almighty. A car capable of VERY bad things...
And then, I read it again. Dude, I would not be worthy to ride in such a machine.
Truly a FAR better choice than a newer, polished GT3 with its silly little radio, leather seats, and climate control. Hmmph! That is UNreal, Grant. Wow! Now I REALLY like your car. No, really. What sort of power numbers does it have? (as though you'd NEED anything more than a breathed-on stocker in an NINETEEN HUNDRED POUND car! SHEESH!) Bad things, man. Bad things.

Carbon RS
Taylor - It has a slightly uprated 2.7RS style motor. 7R case from 2.7 with all machine work done at Ollie's and built to race spec by Jack Refenning (RS pistons, higher compression, hi-rev valve springs, oiling mods including 930 pump, etc.) Redlines at 8,000 and makes 240hp. Here's a view:

BB, how goes everything with your Dad's Carrera? Things just cooling off, or is something going to happen?
Grant, so you're saying it's fast, huh? I read the article from "Excellence." VERY cool, indeed. More closeups of the carbon stuff, please. The far away shots don't do it justice...

Everything is sort of in "standby"...
If she sells the car for it's market value, well, it'll leave the family. There's nothing I can do about it (I'd have to give up all of my "go back to school" money. And I think my dad would come back and haunt me if I did that...), and the rest of the family would be too pissed to buy it on principle.
If she gives it up or goes for reimbursement value, then I think my brother will take it. When I'm done with school, I may acquire it from him, if he's willing. If not, well, it's still in the family...

Right on, man. I really DO understand the value of sentimental heirlooms. Like I told you before, my pops and I were ALWAYS fishing and hunting together, moreso than my brother or my sister. My stepmom, thankfully knows how much those memories (and the hunting guns and fishing rods) mean to me. And it has NOTHING to do with what they are worth monetarily. Hope it stays with y'all, dude.
