Hi All,
I am having trouble removing the rear brake caliper lower attachment bolt from a 1976 912E (should be the same as a 911, same year). Very tight quarters. Is this a case for Porsche special tool #???.
Any ideas/suggestions?

R brakes can be tight - do you have any close-quarters sockets or other tools? I've used some Snap-off shorty sockets with breaker bar and small Snappy ratchet on my old 911...

r911,
Thanks for the reply. I can just nearly get a standard 19mm socket and ratchet onto the bolt, and between the body of the caliper casting and the break fluid line there seems to be enough room for one click of movement on a standard ratchet.
bst wishes,
