Default Custom Build Targa

Has anyone done a custom build from a New England Dealer? If so what was your experience like? Additionally, does anyone know the cut off date for ordering a 2019 model?
Thanks

You're better off posting this question on water cooled 991 section. This section is for air cooled 911's.

I think it may be hard to get a 2019 Targa build slot at this point. Most of the 19 build slots are locked up in prep for the coming 992. If you're going to spec the car yourself the only thing the dealer whether they're in New England or California is going to do is compete on price, and that's if they have a Targa build slot left. I was the GMS at a Porsche dealer, if you have any particular questions let me know.

Probably will have to wait longer than the 2020 model year. I do t think the targa is going to be the first model 911 out the door.
