Hi Everyone,

I'm replaing my much neglected windshield in my 73 Targa and want to use my old mirror on the new windshield.

How do I get it off the old windshield? I've heard that I can use a heat gun on the outside, but would be worried about damaging the windshield (I have someone that wants my old windshield) and mirror.

Usually they just fall off. That helps I know.
I have removed several using a putty knife between the mirror base and the glass. Works fine.
