Hey guys,

I’ve begun my search for a 911 and was just doing my research so I have everything ready for when I find a car I want. But it seems the more I read on here the more confused I get. I was hoping you guys could help me with a couple questions:

Note: My current search filter is for a 2015 or 2016, non-manual with < 25k miles
1) Any tips on what to make sure my PPI includes? I.e. DME report, leakdown, compression test, paint meter, are they able to confirm if the maintenance schedule has been adhered to?
2) Is it a bad idea to have the 3rd party come to the dealer to do the PPI?
3) How does the process usually work? Negotiate price with dealer, put down a deposit contingent on a positive PPI, have PPI done, if negative either walk away or negotiate further, if positive then buy it and come here and post pics?

I honestly appreciate any help you guys can provide. Thank you!

Better if you ask in the 991 forum. The ppis we do on our old air-cooled cars are a bit different.
