Default Need brake pad options: less track!

Need front pads, all. My SC has been my Trackmeister for years, but recently life has changed and am now more like 85% street with 15% track on it. So I want competent pads for the track but wish to scale back how "track dedicated" the car is: stock SC w/CIS with the only significant options being SSI exhaust, mild suspension work, lightened to 2550 lbs, and no longer using R-comps, so just street tires, 7s and 9s.

I had PFCs in there, I think they were compound 97. What do you think I can replace them with as my fronts are toast and need replacing. Same 97s or?? Thanks!!

I have 2 street pads i use
porterfield r4s
race technologies ts20

the ts20 is a better pad. Not cheap. Unsure if they make oem sizes.

Both are good for street. The ts20 can do both. I use them in my 964
the carrera and T have porterfield

the pfc pads don’t they squeal like a bus?

When I ran PFC97s on my 993, yes, they squealed loudly! I swapped track/street pads in/out for track days. But for whatever reason, on the SC no squeal! I wonder if I got lucky or if it's slightly different construction that makes a difference, or maybe the way the calipers mount, who knows, but no noise for the life of the pads!

I'll check those out, thanks!

Anyone else with possibilities? Sharing your thoughts is most welcome!!
