911s engine number query

Can anyone help by letting me know from what model and year 911 an engine with number 6460359 is from?

also whether it would match a transmission 915/61 7173168?

Not an expert, but according to what I see from Peter Morgan's book, the motor would come from a 1976 911S and the trans from a 1977

I have a 1980 911 SC Vin 91A0140398 with an engine number of 6880147 which may not be similar. Can anyone let know me the engine specs.
