Default Low pressure fuel regulator

Car bucking at low rpm / throttle, so assuming it's the fuel regulator struggling under low pressure, is it an easy at home swap or time for the shop?

My 3.2 was doing something similar. A good cleaning of the icv and it is cured. The PO had a k&n which was way over oiled. It is easy to remove from the bracket, fill with carb cleaner, shake it and drain.

Ive had a FPR exhibit those conditions on a 3.6. You could see it failed and fuel was coming out of the vac port, so it was obvious.

Thanks, but my ICV was recently replaced and when it was faulty, my idle used to "hunt". It's only an issue when at low throttle and low rpm, which is a typical of lpfr failure. I'm taking her in next week or so and will advise.
On the other hand, i'm out at the summer home where I keep her and other than the one issue, it's such a pleasure to drive the car. Such a visceral experience, nothing compares!

Mine was lugging at low rpm in first gear in traffic. I recently replaced the fuel pump, filter, in tank screen and absolutely every fuel line in the car. Still lugging...in my case the icv cleaning resolved it.

With declining fuel pressure see if you can get a T fitting pressure gauge so you can see what the fuel pressure is actually doing. How healthy is the fuel pump? Is it original to the car? Noisy?

I have had fuel pressure issues with my 240Z carbs and its painful good luck.

No lugging, it's bucking at low rpm @ minimal throttle usage, other than that she runs like a top! No noise either..

Culprit was the ICV! Was letting in too much air and screwing w/ the mixture. Replaced w/ new OEM and she's better than ever!
