Alarm / Central Locking ?'s
Hello all,
I managed to let the battery run a little low (not dead) and the Central locking system sequence has changed on my 88 Targa. With the battery back up to speed, the system will now softly cherp for approx. 12 - 16 times then locks and sets the alarm when you close the door leaving the car. The drivers side door has a plug (no key) for the alarm and no name on the black box. Is there a sequencial code to reset it? I 'm used to manually setting the alarm with the key fob. ??????

For those who might be interested, I ask around at a couple of alarm stores, they didn't know anything about my system and wanted to sell me a new alarm to replace my defective one. The real "sequencial code" answer is to unplug the brain, wait for ten seconds and plug it back in. Everything resets and it didn't cost a dime.... what a dummy....
